![]() Depending on where you stay, and what places of the large resort you visit, your mileage and view of Foxwoods will vary. Stay awayįoxwoods is a large resort with 3 on property hotels(MGM Grand, Pequot, Great Cedars) connected to the main area and one budget hotel(Two Trees) across the street that also has 24 hour shuttle service provided, though wait times do vary. And lastly the hotel and casino are full of smoke from all the smokers. There are no waitresses serving drinks on the gaming floor. Overall, I would advise skipping Foxwoods. We saw the Princess Diana exhibition which my wife and I liked. We had to go to the bar, wait in line, and then head back to the casino. While playing slots, and losing every dollar, I was never asked if I wanted a drink nor could I find a waitress. While gaming the waitresses were very scarce, if any. They need to do something about the ventilation system and enforce the no smoking rules in the designated areas. Even the non smoking areas were full of smoke. The casino was like walking through a burning building. Now, 15 years later, the rooms are not only overpriced but they are dated and worn. I went there 15 years ago when it was new and the service was very good and the rooms were nice although overpriced.
